Cambiata typically performs in costume, and our concerts appeal to audiences of all ages. We play a wide variety of instruments, which are reproductions of period instruments, and we invite audience members to speak with us and take a closer look at the instruments after the show.

  • Big Event!! Saturday, November 28 at 7:30 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley, 424 Center Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018, Community Room. CD Release Party "Winter Delights" with selections of music of the Renaissance Yuletide Season, in costume and on period instruments, with guest vocalist Alyssa Thatcher. Admission is free.   • Sunday, December 6th at 2 PM at the Connexions Gallery, 213 Northampton Street, Easton, PA 18042. Selections of music of the Renaissance Yuletide Season, in costume and on period instruments.  Free will Admission. For all ages. For more information, call 610-691-6594.

  • Saturday, December 19th at 10 AM and 3 PM at the Ice House, Sand Island in Bethlehem, PA. The morning event at 10 AM is a Renaissance Christmas Party for families. There will be music, followed by a workshop making puppets while having cookies and juice. The musical portion will be $5 or, $7.50 music with workshop. Charming melodies, fascinating instruments performed by 4 instrumental musicians. Hear the lute, harpsichord, gemshorns, krumhorns, vielle, recorders, some old European carols and dances of the wintery and holiday season.  The afternoon concert at 3pm at the Icehouse is a musical celebration of A Renaissance Christmas. Seasonal songs and dances of wintry 17th century Europe . Admission $5 per person.

  • Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 7:30 PM at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Rd, Allentown, 18103. No admission, free will contribution. A concert of Spring and Summer Renaissance Music.

  • December 20, 2008 10 AM and 3 PM at the Ice House, Sand Island in Bethlehem, PA. $5 show, $7.50 show and workshop. A Renaissance Christmas.and dances of wintry 17th century Europe followed Seasonal songs by a dance workshop for children.

  • December 5, 2008 7 PM to 9 PM at Tallaricos at First Friday in Bethlehem. Preview of our Christmas Show. Seasonal songs and dances of wintry 17th century Europe.

  • November 30, 2008 7 PM to 10 PM at Symphony Hall in Allentown. A Lehigh Valley Christmas in Concert. $35 admission. Tickets.

  • December 22, 2007 10 AM and 3 PM at the Icehouse, Sand Island in Bethlehem, PA. $5 show, $7.50 show and workshop. A Renaissance Christmas. Seasonal songs and dances of wintry 17th century Europe followed by a dance workshop for children.

  • May 24, 2007 at about 6 - 8 pm in Bethlehem for “Tunes at Twilight”. This will be in the courtyard behind the Sun Inn off Main Street in Historic Bethlehem. The concert is informal and will be free. Bring your family and your picnic dinner and enjoy tunes from long ago performed in Renaissance costumes.

  • April 21, 2007 at 4 PM at the Icehouse, Sand Island in Bethlehem PA. $5 show.  Family Spring Concert with the songs and dances of the Renaissance celebrating Spring including a Maypole Dance with the audience.

  • April 14, 2007 at 10 AM at the Icehouse, Sand Island in Bethlehem PA. $5 show, $7.50 show and workshop. Family Spring Concert, followed by a workshop for children.  Cambiata welcomes Spring with a performance of songs, dances, and ditties from the European Renaissance.

  • February 2, 2007 at 7:30 PM at the Chamber Music in the Old Chapel, Heckewelder Place, Bethlehem PA. Music of the Medieval and Renaissance period. You may reserve tickets and pick them up 30 minutes prior to the performance. For ticket information call the church office at 610-866-5661. There will be a free-will offering.

  • January 27, 2007 at 6 - 8 PM at the Allentown Art Museum, Allentown, PA. Reception music to an opening of the Knights in Shining Armor exhibit. Cambiata will play, among other great pieces, the ballad of Lord Willoughby's Welcome Home.
